MILLBURN EDUCATION FOUNDATION GRANTS

We have provided more than $3 million in grants to our district schools over 25 years.

Several major events since 2020 have caused us to rethink what we do and how we do it. While OUR MISSION TO ENGAGE AND EMPOWER MILLBURN STUDENTS BY ENHANCING THEIR PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION REMAINS UNCHANGED, we are flexible enough to pivot and think outside the box in order to find new ways to use our skills and resources to help our community.

SELECTED GRANTS FROM

THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

MHS TV Studio ($124k)

$124,000 for a media and television production studio at Millburn High School.  The grant enabled a major renovation to the existing studio to infuse it with modern technology and elevate it to a level that is commensurate with other top New Jersey school districts.

One Millburn Initiative ($125k)

$125,000 for our district’s multifaceted “One Millburn” program, a community-wide endeavor led by the district to embrace diversity, confront all forms of hate and ensure that Millburn is a safe place for students to live, learn and grow.

VEX Robotics Equipment ($55k)

$55,000 for Vex Robotics equipment for our upper elementary and middle school students.  Millburn is a top competitor in global robotics challenges, and the grant supports our district’s endeavors to bring cutting edge technology, competitive opportunities and inspiration to our younger students.

Washington School Media Den ($35k)

$35,000 for a new media den at Washington School, which brings media development and production opportunities to all fifth-grade students across our district.
