Director, Corporate Partnerships

Valerie is a seasoned fundraising and business development professional and connector with a passion for making a difference. From working with corporate sponsors and partners and internal teams, delivering valuable and meaningful results is what drives her. She is the Director, Corporate Partnerships at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, the largest performing arts center in the state, where she oversees sponsorship and corporate fundraising.  Having been immersed in the arts her entire life and benefitted immeasurably from access to arts education and training, she has a deep personal connection to the arts as a vehicle for allyship, community-building and success in all aspects of life. She has been a clarinetist since the age of 13 and a dancer and dance teacher since 2004.

David Ege

Chief Technical Officer

David Ege has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus in biologics, vaccines and novel modalities. Prior to joining ADCT in 2024, Dr. Ege was CTO, head of Process Development, Quality and Supply at Seres Therapeutics since 2020. He began his career at Merck in 2003, serving in a variety of technical, operations and leadership roles in R&D, manufacturing and supply chain, in the U.S. and Switzerland. He has contributed to the successful first-in-class licensure and launch of cervical cancer vaccines, Gardasil® (2006) and Gardasil9® (2014), the breakthrough cancer immunotherapy, Keytruda® (2014), and oral live microbiome therapy Vowst™ (2023). He graduated from Princeton with a BSE in chemical engineering and earned his PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Sr. Project Operations Manager

Pratima is a seasoned Commercial and Risk Manager with expertise focused on multidisciplinary, alternative delivery and fast-paced projects and programs such as tunnels, airports and bridges. Key responsibilities include full cycle project pursuit and execution from contract review and negotiation to coordinating multi-disciplinary staff in diverse offices, developing schedules, procuring, and managing subcontractors, and budget and quality management in construction and design engineering environments. In conjunction with the PM and technical leads, she identifies areas of concern, develops mitigation strategies and tracks through closure any risks identified. On multiple projects, Ms. Gatehouse has led the design quality management including writing and enforcing quality programs and coordination on Design Build projects using technology to streamline the construction and design integration. Coordination actives extend past the internal team to address stakeholder concerns including owners, agencies of authority, contractors, subcontractors and subconsultants to create a truly integrated team environment to succeed in alternative delivery projects.

Adam is the Team Lead for Financial Services & Insurance.   Adam is a founding member of the Go-to-Market team at OpenAI. He was the first salesperson on the GTM team, joining back in 2021.   Prior to that, Adam had spent five years at Microsoft on the Azure team.  Adam has worked at other tech leaders such as Pivotal and Cisco and has been in various enterprise sales roles over the last 26 years.

Jessica Layton Catalon is a breaking news anchor at NBC & MSNBC. A journalist for over two decades, story telling has been at the center of her career day in and day out. When she’s not on air at 30 Rock in NYC, she’s working as a public speaking coach, health writer and communications consultant. A professional singer - including serving as a cantor at St. Rose of Lima Church - she believes our voices are among our most powerful tools to help others. Her husband Andrew is a sports play by play announcer at CBS. Her son CJ is in 4th grade at Deerfield School.

Laura Overdeck

Founder & President

Laura Bilodeau Overdeck is an education reformer, author and philanthropist. She is the founder of Bedtime Math, a nationwide nonprofit whose research-proven app reduces math anxiety for kids and their parents, and the author of the Bedtime Math book series (Macmillan). She is also producer of the film Rule Breakers about the Afghan women’s robotics team, which opened in theaters nationwide in March 2025. It is the true story of the brave women who overcame cultural and economic challenges to form a team and eventually medal in U.S. robotics competitions. As a founding board member of the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, Laura launched the statewide New Jersey Tutoring Corps, which raises elementary students’ math and reading skills to grade level and beyond. In 2023 she independently founded Rekindle, a nonprofit that recruits award-winning educators to coach novice elementary school teachers on strong math instruction. Laura has been appointed by three New Jersey governors to lead working groups on pressing education issues. In 2007, she was appointed to the board of New Jersey Governor’s School, a college residential summer program for talented high school seniors. In 2015, she co-chaired the STEM Pathways Network, an initiative to partner schools, corporations, science museums and other nonprofits to develop more STEM opportunities for students. And in 2018, she co-chaired the Working Group for On-Ramps to College, which pushed to increase New Jersey students’ enrollment in New Jersey colleges. Laura is an alumna and former trustee of Princeton University, where she earned a B.A. in astrophysics. She also holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business and an honorary doctorate from Stevens Institute of Technology. Laura serves on the boards of Khan Academy and Liberty Science Center, and the advisory board for Princeton’s Department of Astrophysical Sciences.

Brett joined IPCO, previously Sandvik Process Systems, in 2011. Initially a Capital Equipment Sales Engineer responsible for eastern Canada and 15 US States, he was quickly named Regional Product Specialist supporting all sales functions inside of North and South America for new chemical applications. Brett also took on a one (1) year special assignment assisting with the acquisition of a new technology expanding IPCO’s offering in Sulphur Solidification. For the past 4 years Brett has held management positions overseeing multiple departments; inside sales, outside sales, special engineering, service, and production. As of September 2024, Brett is now the North American Sales Manager for IPCO’s Core Technologies. Prior to IPCO, Brett worked as a Design and Application Engineer. Brett holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Wilkes University with a minor in Physics.

Matt has over 25 years of in the commodities industry, working in risk, trading and operations for firms in Houston, Calgary, and New York. Experience with Natural Gas, LNG, Power, Oil, EV / Bulk Metals, Uranium, and Emissions. Matt was one of the designers of Goldman Sachs’ Energy Trading and Risk Management platform, collaborating with developers to create a central hub for physical trading risk and operations. Outside of work, Matt enjoys traveling with his family, skiing, attending live music events, and working on the MEF Rocktoberfest Committee. Matt has one daughter who is a freshman at Millburn High School and another who graduated in 2023.
